Discover London with your little one

Let us help you discover London this spring

As I set to publish this post, recent events have pushed Londoners and visitors alike that (in the most British way possible) we need to keep calm and carry on and discover London and all this wonderful city has to offer.

Discover London this spring

Afternoon Tea on a bus in LondonIf you’re in London visiting on holiday or happen to live here, you will know that afternoon tea is a must. Should you go with your little one(s) you might want to spice things up a bit and make it tea with a twist. Leave the stuffy restaurants behind and hop on double decker bus instead with B Bakery bus tour. If you or the kids would prefer to travel by boat, you can take advantage of their Afternoon Tea Boat Tour or even order your tea to go in a picnic basket to enjoy in the outdoor space of your choice. In Covent Garden? You can visit their flagship store for a cuppa!

Discover London in a Mini Cooper

If you’re looking for a way to make it around the capital in style, check out Small Car, Big City. It’s pretty much the most British was you can see the sites, in the comfy confines of a beautifully refurbished Mini Cooper.Family Photoshoot at WestminsterIn that beautiful Mini be sure to stop by Westminster for the landmarks (including but not limited to Big Ben, Horseguards Parade, the Mall and Buckingham Palace) and of course to stop and enjoy Southbank. This densely packed centre of culture is full of theatres, museums, restaurants, pop-ups and more. It’s the perfect place to go after you’ve finished exploring the more historical sites across the river.  There are often free family activities going on at the National Theatre or on the ground floor of the OXO Towers. Continue walking and you’ll eventually get to the Tate Modern and Shakespeare’s Globe.

Southbank of London with kidsThings to do around Southbank with kids

This is just the start. In our latest edition of our Boggio Magazine, we set out around the city and put together some of Julia’s recommendations for a fun day out on the town with your wee one. You can see the full article (with all details of locations as well as extra recommendations) & additional by viewing our magazine online if you don’t happen to have a copy.

We love London and all it has to offer and we know you and your family will too!
