We love doing pregnancy photography here at Julia Boggio Studios. It’s such a personal, beautiful time in a woman’s life and we always feel so privileged to share it with our clients.
When Chipo came in, the thing I loved about her was that she was so organised and had really done her research on pregnancy portraiture. The shoot was an important event to her and I could tell she was really engaged with the idea of being photographed at this special time in her life. Chipo said, “I was initially attracted to the quality of the pictures they produced [at Julia Boggio Studios]. Their friendliness and professionalism sealed the deal.”
Why was getting pregnancy photos so important to her? “It’s part of the legacy we leave for our children and for their children as well. Maintaining family memories is not only pleasurable but also gives children security in their identity.”
Chipo came in with loads of outfits to try to during the shoot and really wanted to do our famous flowing fabric shot, too. “I was so comfortable and the shoot flew by so quickly, I forgot that I was heavily pregnant and couldn’t stand up for that long!
“Our photographer, Katy, was fab. Friendly, professional, calming and the pictures she created are amazing. I’m looking forward to working with her again.”
Which will be next week! Chipo had a little boy and she’ll be coming in for her newborn shoot. I can’t wait. I also love that when asked to describe us, she said, “Pricey, but totally worth it.” We agree.
