Bring the grandparents in for your family shoot this year
It’s always special when a big family joins us at our Wimbledon studio for a family shoot. Sometimes the bigger groups that come in can even be made up of multiple generations which can make the time spent with our photographer just brilliant as we are able to create lasting memories for the family.
Mo and her family first saw Julia’s work at Kingston Hospital and loved the natural approach to photography as she was able to ‘capture the moment in a wonderfully evocative way.’ This, combined with having met Julia through their daughters’ nursery, made it an easy decision to come in for a session.
“We loved the relaxed atmosphere, the effortless way in which the shots were arranged on the day, Julia’s patience with the kids, and the photo viewing visit (although I didn’t anticipate how difficult it would be to select the ones we liked best!)”
When asking Mo about what family shoots mean to her she talked about how it’s important for her to be able to have record of the moments the family has together as the children grow, describing it as building a montage of memories that they are able to look back on and enjoy in years to come.
And we really couldn’t agree more – we try and create a calm space for the family, making everyone as comfortable as possible, so we are able to capture the whole family at their happiest.
Within the hour session in the studio, we will be able to capture various groupings, including children individually and shots with grandparents. With a larger group, we will be sure to discuss specific groupings with you and shots you are keen to have well in advance so we’ve got it all!
