Once in a while, an image comes along that makes us all giggle. This family gave us just such an image. This picture of their three boys with their 3D glasses on cracks me up. It’s just so PERFECT. I can almost hear my father’s voice telling me that if I hadn’t watched so much TV, I could have gone to Harvard (dream on, Daddy!)
The shoot took place because both grandmothers were celebrating special birthdays, so it was a great opportunity to get them a special gift. Talking about his family, James shares, “Words can’t adequately describe it, but there’s something unique and intangible in each of the boys at the moment and the interaction between them, which I wanted to try and capture. And, of course, my beautiful wife, the real boss of the family, who looks especially stunning after a summer holiday. Best days of our lives, I reckon! I’m still musing over some portraits we left!”
James had nothing but great things to say about his whole experience at Julia Boggio Studios. It’s the kind of feedback that makes us positively glow. “JBS has always struck me as a young and vibrant local company with an understated confidence in their abilities to impress,” he says. Seriously – we didn’t pay him to say that. Or this: “From the first telephone call we were made to feel important and cared for. In a crazy and unexpected moment on a Friday afternoon, I popped into the studio on a whim and the girls gave me a sneaky look at a couple of the shots. You do wonder if they will match your expectations and I felt such a buzz telling Liz how special they were.”
“It was a really unique experience – everyone is so ‘up for it’ at JBS. It’s infectious,” James says. “Stephan, our photographer, was superb. We didn’t have any set ideas, but he quickly worked out a plan and managed to keep the boys entertained and interested for the whole shoot. What patience! As soon as we left, our littlest fell fast asleep!”
Well, thank you for coming to us for your special family portraits! We loved having you and you made us all smile.
