Here at our Wimbledon Family Photography Studio, we love it when families bring in props and costumes. It helps to make shoots more personal, and gives your photographer great insight into what you would like to achieve.
This family brought in a beautiful silver B prop, as their lovely children all had names beginning with the letter. We used it in individual and family portraits to create a shoot that felt truly personal.
Mum, Liz, explains that they won the photoshoot in a silent auction in aid of the Octavia Appeal. The Octavia Appeal are a fantastic charity that help the paediatric intensive care unit at the Royal Brompton Hospital which is the UK’s largest heart and lung centre.
Liz went on to explain that professional portraiture is very important to their family. “Childhood is a very precious time that passes all too quickly. We wanted to capture fond memories of this for our family.”
“From the start we were excited about our shoot. The website was full of ideas and lovely portraits to wet our appetites”
“It was fun to build a sense of expectation with the kids too. When we arrived everyone we met was engaging, relaxed and fun. The photos taken show how much we enjoyed ourselves.”
The family were kind enough to recommend us to their friends. “Boggio Studios are a top quality photography studio that really capture people at their best, in a relaxed and creative style. Hannah, our photographer, was very professional with great ideas for photos and yet keen to hear our desires too”
