Our product list: What to do with your portraits

Back to blog
So you’ve booked your photo shoot, but what are you going to do with your portraits now?

You did it, you had your family portraits taken. Your kids may have had a meltdown nearing the end, but our team has assured you that we’ve taken some stunning images of you and your family.

Now for (what only appears to be) the tricky part: choosing how you would like your portraits displayed and presented. While the options are endless, we can certainly help to guide you in the right direction based on your needs and preference.

Digital image packages for family photo shoots

Living in a digital age

Many of our clients immediately ask for digital images upon booking. This can be a great option for families wanting to share their portraits with relatives and friends abroad or, to have them as a back up (this is why we refer to them as ‘digital negatives’) or to simply have the flexibility to do what you want with your images.

For these reasons, we include digital images in our starter packages. Many families opt for a package that they are able to add to (should they want more digital images) and choose to wait and see which images they would like as wall pieces or in an album.

Portraits are taken to be seen

The main issue we have with digital images is that we worry they will never leave your computer! While we agree that having a back up is essential, in our opinion, these timeless portraits are meant to be seen and adored.

There are a number of different ways to do this. Here are a few just get you started:

Top family photographer in London

Classic frames

Available as single aperture frames (one image) or multiple aperture frames, such as the triptych above. These frames are elegant and classic, just as the name would suggest. Handmade frames that are available in a wide range of finishes & mount styles, these wall pieces will hang perfectly in traditionally furnished homes and spaces.

Framed canvases

Canvas has had a bad reputation in the past for printing. You might immediately think of poor quality printing when considering portraits on canvas, but allow us to change your mind! Our framed canvases are printed with rich tones and colours to resemble that of a painting. Julia’s award winning photo (above), printed on canvas confuses people on a daily basis with its painterly look.

Modern family photography

Acrylic wall pieces

Clean, modern and visually stunning. Our acrylic wall pieces come in a range of sizes and finishes and are really works of art. They are superb for bringing out brilliant colour and can be printed in traditional rectangular sizes or circular as shown.

Family albums at Boggio Studios

We really get excited about albums. They are a fantastic way to document time and place all of these wonderful memories you’re creating in one spot. Whether it’s to capture just brief moment (a studio or location shoot) or bringing together images from your entire year, we create a range of beautifully bespoke albums that you will cherish for years to come.

Photo blocks

Our acrylic blocks are hugely popular as gifts for any occasion, but especially around the holiday season. Available in three different sizes, they are ideal for side tables, desks and for the shelf.
