Patel Newborn Shoot in Wimbledon

Back to blog

Newborn photography Kingston Maternity Hospital

A couple months ago, I went to the Patel’s house to do a lovely photo shoot with their newborn baby. He behaved beautifully for us – sleeping at all the appropriate times and generally looking adorable.

Like me, Minal gave birth at Kingston Maternity Hospital, where we have donated canvases to decorate their walls. This is what Minal had to say:

“I had a very difficult pregnancy and ended up housebound by 20 weeks and on crutches due to a problem with my pelvis. I was in agony. I had to see the consultant a lot due to this and often felt comforted by the gorgeous photos in the waiting area. They really kept me going and I vowed that I would one day have a photo done like that.

Cute baby photography in Wimbledon

“When it finally came time to have my shoot, I loved the cute little hats that Julia had with her, as well as meeting Julia herself – she’s so talented and down-to-earth. I especially love the photos of me and my baby together. My whole experience with Julia Boggio Studios was so professional and these images are magical, special and priceless.”

Thank you, Minal! We are so happy to we could be part of Baby’s Happy Beginning. And just because we can’t resist asking some fun questions…

Favourite book from when you were young? The Faraway Tree by Enid Blyton
What’s Baby’s favourite toy? Anything colourful!
Best buy for new parents? Our cradle swing is a lifesaver it’s the only way mummy can pop to the loo!
Tips for new parents? Trust your instincts and don’t listen to everyone else’s opinions. It’s your baby, not theirs!
Favourite moment of parenthood so far? When my bubba smiled at me for the first time, it made my heart melt.
