Who knew growing up could be so much fun? We did!
As a luxury family photography studio, we are privileged to watch growing families welcome new additions on a day to day basis. Even more, to see those babies blossom into beautiful children from one year to the next puts a smile on our faces.
Many of our clients come in for their shoots at key milestones such as birthdays, Christmas or perhaps to match an age an older sibling came to see us for a shoot. It can be a wonderful way to document how your little one has changed over a year (sometimes an incredible amount without you fully realising it).
We adore seeing families for annual shoots. It was this idea that lead to us catching up with babies that we had started photographing way back in 2009 for a brilliant editorial for our latest Boggio Magazine.
Julia spoke with some of our very first Boggio babies and asked them what they would like to be when they grew up and had them styled accordingly. The answers we received were pretty fantastic and will most likely persuade you for an immediate career change!
Alice’s baby portrait hung on our walls for many years (if you’ve been in the studio, you can probably remember it as the massive framed canvas) so we knew we had to have her in to find out her career plans for being a swimming instructor and what that would entail.
“If I were a swimming superhero, I would be able to swim really, really fast and have a jacket that makes me fly so I can dive back in.”
Swing by the studio to pick up your complimentary copy of the latest Boggio Magazine or have a read online, to see some of our other young models’ baby portraits to see if you can guess who is who! Until then, have a look at just a few of the fabulous images from the editorial.
